This is a mix of some of the tracks I made during high school. They were taken from several hours of material between 2001 and 2004. They were made on my Mom’s PC with Acid Pro and Fruity Loops using numerous samples and other noises.
I made this mix several months ago but felt self-conscious about its silliness and decided to shelve it. Then I listened to it again and got giddy with excitement.
Then I listened to it again and felt somewhere in-between.
My final thought is that it accurately documents a span of creative naivety that I’ll never again be able to replicate.
I had a lot of fun arranging these sounds and I hope you enjoy it!
